HAIR LOSS SOLUTION

FUE Shaven

Standard Practice for FUE procedure

Permanent hair transplantation using Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a well-established and increasingly popular procedure all around the world and in Thailand. Shaven FUE involves shaving your entire head and transplanting strong, permanent hair follicles from the back of the head (Donor area) to the desired area (Recipient area). The incisions created are only 0.6-0.8mm wide and heal very quickly over a few days, leaving minimal scars. With Shaven FUE, patients can enjoy their regular routine the next day after surgery despite having a life changing surgery. Specialists at Bangkok Hair Clinic are well-known among young patients and recommended by other doctors as they create natural results and are experts in their field.

Shaven FUE procedure:

How long does Shaven FUE take?

Shaven FUE takes around 6-8 hours or less, depending on each patient’s scalp condition, difficulty, and number of grafts being transplanted. We allow patients a 15-30 minutes break for lunch and toileting. We are mindful of the duration of time that grafts remain outside the body and aim to re-implant as soon as possible using the ‘first out, first in’ technique.

Is Shaven FUE safe?

Shaven FUE is a standardized procedure performed by doctors all over the world for over 30 years. It has consistently shown to be safe and effective with minimal scars, and often preferred over Strip Harvesting or Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). Many specialised equipments and techniques have been developed to improve the FUE process and we have acquired these modern equipments for use in all our procedures.

Shaven FUE is not painful. Our doctors have developed a method to reduce pain during the injection of local anaesthetics and there should not be any pain afterwards.
